1Job.co.uk nominated for Onrec Marketing Award
For the first time, 1Job.co.uk has been nominated for the prestigious 2009 Onrec “Innovative Online Marketing Award”. This year the award is sponsored by international search technology company Actonomy.

Over the 12 months of 2008, 1Job has sent over 12 million candidates directly to their clients job adverts. Research shows that candidates from 1Job probably provide the highest conversion rate in the UK.
The reason that 1Job is the UK’s most visited job search engine (source Hitwise) is simple. 1Job carries tens of thousands of fresh jobs each day and has developed, what it calls, its unique “JobSpace” marketing software programme. This is designed to monitor SEO and traffic trends and to drive their traffic optimisation programme. Keyword trends identified by “JobSpace” are used by 1Job’s marketing and copywriting team to assist them directly with the production of their online, and even offline, marketing material.
In 2008, 1Job was the first non-job board site to have our visitor demographics audited by ABCe and NORAS (National Online Audience Survey). This and the various awards they have won has been used with great success in the development of a new media pack and used to promote their service on-site and in email campaigns.
